日本橋に猫に関する神社があるのをご存じでしょうか？なんとご利益が「猫探し」。有名なのは三島徳七（MK鋼の発明者）・二三子ご夫妻の猫ちゃんが三か月後に帰ってきたという話です。
大事な猫が「帰ってこない」「いなくなった」なんて想像もしたくないと思いますが、猫を飼われている方には、ひょっとしたら起こるかもしれないことです。こちらの神社覚えておいても損はないかもしれません。

Did you know that there is a shrine about cats in Nihonbashi? What a great benefit is “cat search”. The famous story is that the cat of Tokushichi Mishima (inventor of MK steel) and his wife Fumiko came back three months later.
You may not want to imagine that your precious cat “did not come back” or “disappeared,” but it may happen to you if you have a cat. It may not be a bad idea to remember this shrine.

中村座に出演していた大阪の歌舞伎役者関三十郎が伏見より勧請したと伝わる当神社は、「江戸惣鹿子」元禄2年（1689）には記載があることからそれ以前と推測される。
近隣には吉原や歌舞伎小屋の中村座、市村座、更には操り人形や人形浄瑠璃の小屋等があり、それを背景とした江戸落語に「三光新道」や「三光神社」が登場するところとなった。
古くから娘、子供、芸妓等の参詣するものが多く、ことに猫を見失ったとき立願すれば霊験ありと云う。「三光稲荷神社参道」と銘ある石碑や境内にある猫の置物は猫が無事に帰ったお礼に建立、奉納された。The shrine is said to have been recommended from Fushimi by Seki Sanjuro, an Osaka kabuki actor who appeared at the Nakamura-za theater, but it is assumed that the shrine was built before that time, since it is mentioned in the “Edo souganoko” (1689), the second year of the Genroku era.

In the neighborhood are Yoshiwara, the Nakamura-za and Ichimura-za Kabuki theaters, as well as puppet and ningyo joruri (puppet theater) houses, which led to the appearance of “Sanko Shindo” and “Sanko Shrine” in the Edo rakugo storytelling.
Many daughters, children, and geiko have paid homage to the shrine since ancient times, and it is said that if you lose your cat and make a wish at the shrine, you will receive divine blessings. A stone monument inscribed “Sanko Inari Shrine Approach” and cat figurines on the shrine grounds were erected and dedicated in thanks for the safe return of the cat.
三光稲荷神社の境内 precincts
赤い鳥居が印象的です。
鳥居の内側に門がついているのでおそらく遅い時間などは閉まっていると思います。
The red torii gate is impressive.
The gate is attached to the inside of the torii gate, so it is probably closed late in the day.
目が大きく眼光鋭い狛犬さんです。目と舌が赤く塗られています。
This is a guardian dog with large eyes and a keen gaze. The eyes and tongue are painted red.
鉢の横に手動式の蛇口があります。
「押して下さい。水が出ます。」と親切な案内が書かれています。
There is a manual faucet next to the bowl.
Press it. Push it, and the water will come out.” The manual faucet has a friendly sign that says, “Press the button.
歴史を感じながらも綺麗な社殿です。
The shrine pavilion is beautiful with a sense of history.
きのこ私はなぜかこの神社から「鰹節」を感じます。猫に関係する神社だからでしょうか。
三光稲荷神社の御朱印 －red seal－
境内に社務所はありませんが、神社を出て、人形町通を右に4軒目の「オキナ」というお店（化粧品店）でいただくことができます。
店舗の営業日のみ。17時まで。
There is no shrine office on the shrine grounds, but you can get one at a store called “Okina” (cosmetics store), which is the fourth shop on the right on Ningyocho Dori after leaving the shrine.
Only on days when the store is open.
三光稲荷神社の変わったご利益 －失せ猫祈願－
三光稲荷神社には「失せ猫祈願」という非常に変わったご利益があります。
Sanko Inari Shrine has a very unusual benefit called “Lost Cat Prayer.
愛猫の名前・年齢、不明となった日時・経緯などをご記入の上、人形通りを右へ4軒目、オキナへお届けください。
祈願料に定めはありません。
お気持ちをお寄せ下さい。Please write down the name and age of your cat, the date and time it became unknown, and the circumstances of its disappearance, and deliver it to Okina, 4th house on the right on Ningyo Dori.

きのこ検索すると、実際に猫が見つかったという報告がチラホラと。
行方不明になってしまった猫がいらっしゃる方は祈願してみてはいかがでしょうか？きっとお力を貸してもらえますよ。
社殿向かって左には、招き猫がいっぱい置かれた棚があります。こちらの猫達は、ご利益があった方々からの奉納されたものだそうです。
To the left of the shrine building is a shelf filled with beckoning cats. These cats are said to have been dedicated by people who have received blessings from the shrine.
