【日本橋七福神：寿老神】笠間稲荷神社東京別社を参拝してきました【東京都/中央区】

日本橋七福神のひとつ笠間稲荷神社東京別社を参拝してきました。こちらには「福徳長寿の神」寿老神が祀られています。
茨城県の笠間稲荷にも参拝してみたいのですが、我が家からは約2時間半の距離でした。そうなると訪れるのは、なかなか難しいですよね。こちらの別社では茨城まで行くことなく同じご利益、お守りをいただけるのです。

I have visited Kasama Inari Shrine Tokyo Branch, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune in Nihonbashi. Jurojin, the “God of Fortune and Longevity” is enshrined here.
I would like to visit Kasama Inari in Ibaraki Prefecture, but it was about 2.5 hours away from our house. That would make it very difficult to visit. At this separate shrine, we can receive the same benefits and amulet without having to go to Ibaraki.

現在、東京都の日本橋浜町2丁目に鎮座する笠間稲荷神社東京別社は、紋三郎稲荷とも称せられ、旧笠間藩主牧野氏の邸内社でした。
今から325年前の延宝9年に、牧野成貞が5代将軍綱吉から、下屋敷として拝領した土地で、現在の久松警察署前の小川橋・蛎浜橋辺から隅田川に至る21,269坪（約70,000平米）の広さがあり、邸内には広大な屋敷と庭園、泉池を設け、築山には稲荷・山王・八幡を祀っていました（将軍）綱吉公は、生母桂昌院娘鶴姫等と共に、三十数回に亘り成貞邸を訪れており、 総勢450余名の実に物々しい行列でした。浜町の牧野邸は、その後替え地が行なわれ、文化7年には、7,900坪（26,000平米）となり、その年1,350坪（4,450平米）を細川越中守に譲り隣合わせとなっています。延享4年に牧野貞通が笠間に入封しますと、先例にならい、御本社胡桃下稲荷神社を祈願所としました。牧野貞直公も御本社を崇敬し、安政6年 御分霊を江戸下屋敷内の現在の地に合祀奉斎し崇敬の誠を尽くしました。初午の日には日本橋界隈の市民に門戸を開けて、参拝を許したといわれています。
廃藩後、牧野公邸は本所緑町に移転し、明治21年には牧野家の願いにより、笠間の本社が奉祀する所となりました。
大正12年9月、関東大震災に社殿を焼失しましたが、直ちに再建されています。昭和20年3月東京大空襲により、社殿が焼失し、復興には大変苦慮しましたが同年12月に本社の援助によりご本殿と仮社務所が出来上がり、同28年の9月には、御崇敬者の尽力により拝殿の再建を見るに至りました。
同32年には社務所、翌33年に玉垣、同53年には幣殿が完成して現在に至っております。

日本橋を中心に、紋三郎稲荷として篤い信仰を集めると共に京浜地区の笠間稲荷神社の崇敬者に参拝の利便を計っております。

The Tokyo branch of the Kasama Inari Shrine (also known as Monzaburo Inari), now located in Nihonbashi Hamacho 2-chome, Tokyo, was in the residence of the former Kasama feudal lord, Makino.

The land was 21,269 tsubo (about 70,000 square meters), extending from the Ogawa and Kakehama bridges in front of the present-day Hisamatsu Police Station to the Sumida River. The estate included a vast mansion, garden, and fountain pond, and Inari, Sanno, and Hachiman were enshrined on the built-up hill. Shogun Tsunayoshi visited the Narisada residence more than 30 times with his mother, Tsuruhime (daughter of Keishoin) and others, and the procession of more than 450 people was truly spectacular. The Makino residence in Hamacho was later rebuilt, and in Bunka 7, it was increased to 7,900 tsubo (26,000 square meters), and in the same year, 1,350 tsubo (4,450 square meters) was given to Hosokawa Echu-no-Kami, making the two mansions adjacent to each other. In Enkyo 4, when Makino Sadamichi arrived in Kasama, he followed the precedent and designated Kurumazaki Inari Shrine, the head shrine, as his place of worship. Sadanao Makino also revered the head shrine, and in 1615, he enshrined a branch shrine at the present location of his Edo Shimoyashiki residence. It is said that on the first horse day of the year, he opened the doors to the citizens of the Nihonbashi area and allowed them to visit the shrine.

After the abolition of feudal Japan, the official residence of the Makino family was moved to Honjo Midori-cho, and in 1888, the head office in Kasama became the place of dedication at the will of the Makino family.

In September 1923, the Great Kanto Earthquake destroyed the shrine building, but it was immediately rebuilt. In March 1945, the main shrine building was destroyed by fire in an air raid on Tokyo, and although reconstruction was extremely difficult, the main shrine building and temporary shrine office were completed in December of the same year with the assistance of the head office, and the worship hall was rebuilt in September of the same year through the efforts of worshippers.

In September of the same year, the worship hall was reconstructed through the efforts of worshippers. The shrine office was completed in 1932, the tamagaki in 1933, and the gohiden in 1953.

The shrine is worshipped as Monsaburo Inari in the Nihonbashi area and is a convenient location for visitors to the Kasama Inari Shrine in the Keihin area.
