平河天満宮へ鷽鳥をいただきに行った際、半蔵門駅を出たところにある「太田姫稲荷神社」の旗が目を引き、立ち寄り参拝しました。マンションの敷地内にある神社で、東京の土地の無さを物語っていましたが、以前参拝した日本橋の「出世稲荷神社」よりは大きな通りに面したところに建っているので居住していない人も気軽に参拝できる雰囲気です。通勤やお昼休みにふらっと参拝してはいかがでしょうか？

When I visited Hirakawa Tenmangu Shrine, I also stopped by Ota Hime Inari Shrine, which is a short walk from Hanzomon Station. It is located on the grounds of an apartment building, which makes me realize how small the land is in Tokyo, but it is more accessible to non-residents than the Shusse Inari Shrine in Nihonbashi that I visited before, so why not stop by on your way to work or during your lunch break?

疱瘡に関わる霊験が伝えられる太田姫稲荷神社の分社と伝えられていることから麹町地域における疱瘡などの病気平癒祈願の稲荷であったと考えられる。現在では地域の守護神、病気平癒、商売繁盛の神として信仰されている。
It is said that this shrine is a branch of the Ota Hime Inari Shrine, which is said to have spiritual powers related to pemphigus, and is thought to have been an inari shrine for prayers for the healing of pemphigus and other illnesses in the Kojimachi area. Today, the shrine is worshipped as a local guardian deity, a deity for healing illnesses, and a god of business prosperity.

麹町太田姫稲荷神社の境内 precincts
赤くて細身の鳥居でした。
It was a red, slender torii.
鳥居と社殿が近くて社殿だけの写真は撮れず…。
“ライオンズステーションプラザ半蔵門”というマンションの一角に建っています。限られたスペースに鳥居・社殿・狛狐さん・灯篭をぎゅっとして建てたようです。

The shrine stands in the corner of an apartment building called “Lions Station Plaza Hanzomon”. It seems that the torii, shrine pavilion, guardian foxes, and lanterns were built in a limited space.
きのこ油揚げがお供えされていました。半蔵門駅通りに面していて、居住者の人だけでなく近隣にお勤めされているかたも気軽にお参りできる雰囲気です。
